“The witness testimony of Jesus”
“Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”
“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” See, 1 Corinthian 5:8; I Thessalonians 4:18.
And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. See, Revelation 19:10; Rev. 1:9; 6:9; 11:7; 12:17; 1 Corinthians 1:6; 2 Timothy 1:8.
These scriptures confirm there is life after death, starts when you take your last breath here in the valley of the shadow of death. See, Ps. 23:4; Isaiah 9:10; Matt. 4:16; Lk. 1:79. In addition, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, Id. II Cor. 5:6, 8; Rev. 19:10.
We are given our heavenly body that Paul talks about in I Cor. 15:38. The angel here speaking to John was once mortal like you and me. Also see Rom. 8:18-23.
Testimony of Jesus, this phrase is mentioned four times in revelation, See, Rev. 1:2, 9; 12:17; 19:10, it means that a person who received Jesus Christ as savoir gives him the right to have the witness testimony of Jesus, who saved him from the wrath to come.
And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. And
I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, [making him equal] and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Rev. 19:9-10; Rev. 1:9; 6:9; 11:7; 12:17; 1 Corinthians 1:6; 2 Timothy 1:8.
The testimony of Jesus Christ is salvation to the lost, which the devil is trying to hinder and stop this truth from going out to the whole world.
He that believeth [in trust] on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: [Spirit, Jesus, testimony] he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record [bible, witnesses, those who die for the testimony of Christ and commandments of God] that God gave of his Son.
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. See, 1 John 5:10-12; Rev. 1:9; 6:9; 11:7; 12:17; 1 Corinthians 1:6; 2 Timothy 1:8.
And those that have this testimony of Jesus salvation are mortals – not angels.
Punishment for the testimony of Jesus Christ of scripture;
I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, [commandments] and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 1:9; 6:9; 11:7; 12:17; 1 Corinthians 1:6; 2 Timothy 1:8.
And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Rev. 12:17; 19:10; 22:9.
We Christians after death get our immortal bodies, the promised body from God not like angels’ bodies but we both now have an immortal body, we mortals are created in the image of Jesus Christ and God. See, Genesis 1:26-27.
And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: 35 but they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: 36 neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. 37 Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. 38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him. Luke 20:34-38; See, Matthew 22:29-32; Rev. 1:9; 6:9; 11:7; 12:17; 19:9-10; 1 Corinthians 1:6; 2 Timothy 1:8.
Scripture clarifies upon transformation of our bodies from mortal to immortality, heavenly bodies we become like angels we become immortal bodies. J
